REFER-A-FRIEND OFFER (the “Competition”)

• The promoter of the Competition is MyBudget Pty Ltd ABN 82 093 118 597 of 122 Frome Street, Adelaide SA 5000 (“MyBudget”).
• The Competition commences on 1 January 2025 and ends on a date decided by MyBudget (“Competition Period”). The Competition will be drawn at the end of every calendar quarter during the Competition Period.
• Entry to the Competition is free and open to:
  • existing MyBudget clients who refer new clients to MyBudget in accordance with the Competition Terms and Conditions (each a “Referrer”); or
  • new clients who sign up to MyBudget after having been referred by a Referrer in accordance with the Competition Terms and Conditions (each a “Referred Client”).
• A Referrer will receive one entry into the Competition for every Referred Client they introduce to MyBudget, provided the Referred Client:
  • successfully completes an enquiry by either completing a discussion with a member of MyBudget’s New Enquiries team or inputting their details into the unique web page; and
  • in making the enquiry, uses either the Referrer’s unique referral code or the Referrer’s unique web page.
• A Referred Client will receive one entry into the Competition when they:
  • successfully sign up for the MyBudget service (which requires that they meet MyBudget’s eligibility criteria); and
  • in making the enquiry, uses either the Referrer’s unique referral code or the Referrer’s unique web page.
• At the end of each calendar quarter, MyBudget will draw one winner randomly from the entries received in that calendar quarter. The ‘Prize’ is a $1,000 EFTPOS voucher which will be delivered to the winner’s specified address (“the Prize”).
• The results of each draw are final and MyBudget will not enter into correspondences regarding the result.
• Each winner will be contacted by email on the date of the draw and the winner’s name may be published on the MyBudget website. The Prize will be sent within 3-5 business days of the Prize being drawn.
• The Prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
• The Competition is a game of chance conducted at random.
• Referrers and Referred Clients that use false or misleading information to gain entry to the Competition will be disqualified from entry.
• MyBudget reserves the right to reject an entry if it reasonably forms the opinion that an enquiry or sign-up was automated by a computer or was in any way undertaken by a person that did not have the genuine intention of signing up for the MyBudget service or referring genuine clients to MyBudget.
• By entering the Competition, participants expressly consent to MyBudget using their name on MyBudget’s Facebook, Twitter or Instagram accounts, its websites, and within its electronic direct mail communication pieces.
• MyBudget, its related bodies corporate and the suppliers, agencies and other companies involved in this Competition assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, defect, delay in operation or transmission, or loss or damage to data, including as relate to the referral code and/or web page for referrals.
• If the Competition is not capable of running as planned for any reason (including as a result of technical failures, fraud or causes beyond MyBudget’s control), MyBudget may, in its sole discretion, cancel, suspend or change the Competition and re-commence it on similar terms, subject to any directions by regulatory authorities.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyBudget, its related bodies corporate and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents exclude liability for all loss (including loss of data, unauthorised access to data and consequential loss), damage, expenses, death or personal injury suffered or incurred arising out of, or in connection with, the Competition (including in relation to a Prize winner’s participation in the Competition and use of the Prize).
• Information regarding the Prize and how to enter forms part of these terms and conditions. Entry into the Competition is deemed an acknowledgement and acceptance of these terms and conditions.
• These Terms and Conditions are subject to the applicable State or Territory trade promotion lottery laws and authorities.
• Personal information provided by entrants will be used by MyBudget for the purpose of conducting the Competition and otherwise in accordance with the participants’ consent. MyBudget may disclose entrants’ personal information to its contractors and agents in relation to the conduct of this Competition. Any use of personal information will be in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
