MyBudget has a thorough recruitment process that is designed to discover the most enthusiastic, motivated and skilled talent in Australia. The process is made up of numerous sections that combine to create a holistic picture of who you are and the attributes you could bring to our team. We select candidates carefully because we want our people to have the right skills, knowledge and attitude to be a great fit for our culture. It is also extremely important that we hire people who are ethical and of sound character.

Our Process

Your Application
Ensure that your application stands out. Be accurate, concise, and check over your CV to ensure it is free from errors. Tailor your CV and cover letter to demonstrate how your skills, knowledge, strengths and work experience match the role.
There are four stages in the short-listing process: CV screening, telephone screening, face-to-face interviews and possible panel interviews depending on the seniority and complexity of the role.
Group Sessions
Due to the volume of applications for our customer service role, group sessions are run. These sessions involve various activities which encourage team work and all candidates to interact with others before progressing to face-to-face interviews.
Behavioural and situational questions are asked, all to help us assess your communication skills and competencies. You may be asked to complete psychometric and competency based assessments.
Background Screening
If you are offered a position, it is a legislative requirement that you undergo a national police check before commencing employment with us. Professional references will also be obtained from two verified referees.
We will keep you updated throughout the application process. After being interviewed, you will be contacted by telephone to let you know if your application has been successful. We hope that it will be!
