We were the same, always worried about our bills and future payments and big events like Christmas and family weddings were a huge worry for us because we just could not seem to save for anything. We were always saying how come we cannot afford to do things that we wanted to do.
I have wanted to study at TAFE for years but there was never enough money but now with MyBudget it is in our budget and so is Christmas and holidays, nothing gets left out anymore.
We always used to look at people that seemed to be so in control of their finances and could never work out why we weren't the same, it was frustrating to say the least but that has now all changed, we are so proud of ourselves.
But one of the hugest changes is that feeling of wanting to spend all the time has gone, because we now realise with careful and diligent budgeting that we will obtain the things that we need or would like to get.
We have just had our first real holiday in years without the worry of money and everything was budgeted for even our spending money. Going back to work today is the most refreshed that my husband and I have ever been, even excited because we know next year we will be having another 'Real Holiday' and all of our hard work is now worth it.
